During this year's Domotex Fair Decora Company impressed the visitors with technology solutions it introduced to its offer. There were presented innovative and cutting-edge global solutions for the flooring industry in each of the product groups. The innovations included but were not limited to ELECTRO ProTec floor bases and PVC skirting boards made in Wood Effect technology.

Decora S.A. enriched the group of floor insulation with an absolute novelty - ELECTRO ProTec floor base. Its special feature is an innovative, worldwide patent-protected ability to absorb harmful electric field. Furthermore, there were presented skirting boards produced in a cutting-edge technology, which allows precise imitation of the natural pattern of wood/skirting boards perfectly matched to the floor.

Global cutting-edge technology

Patent-protected solution of dielectric floor bases, which were presented at Domotex 2011 in Hanover, is the only solution providing protection against low-frequency electric fields, being harmful to humans, and yet not interfering with the flow of radio waves and magnetic fields, which do not affect human health and even positively influence its functioning. Selective influence of floor insulation in the ADR technology results from the use of non-viscose fabric/PES, with excellent hydrophilic properties. In contrast to the insulation of electromagnetic fields, which have been applied so far, Electro ProTec does not use the electrical conductivity properties of materials such as copper or aluminium. This solution uses the electric field absorption by means of dielectric composites using specific phenomena occurring at interfaces in the structure of the material. Friendly and modern technology applied in the manufacture of Arbiton floor bases makes it possible to eliminate the harmful effects of electromagnetic fields. XPS Electro ProTec floor bases absorb excess energy by reducing its harmful effects on human health and well-being. It is the only and best solution to the global market, both in terms of quality and cost.

XPS Electro ProTec floor bases can be transparently placed under floors. The screen does not require grounding and the properties of steam-permeability, so there is no risk of moulds and mildew on the surface of partitions.

Technology deriving from nature and new floor collection

The visitors' attention was also drawn to the Decora stand due to attractive solutions in the production of finishing details. Wood Effect Technology, an innovative printing technology, allows producing PVC skirting boards which look like the natural wood and form the boards perfectly matched to a specific floor pattern. Therefore, the perfect imitation of the wood structure and rings makes it possible to match the boards to each floor. This is allowed due to the use of digital technology with higher resolution, which involves the precise transmission of the structure of decorations from an engraved pattern, with the application of professional paints and varnishes. Thus produced boards go perfectly in line with the floor colours and pattern, forming an ideal trim. The resulting effect is exceptional in its print clarity and quality, characteristic of High Definition images. The visitors to Domotex Fair in Hanover could also be the first to watch the new collections of wooden and laminated Arbiton floorings. The offer in this product group, which was diversified in mid-2010, consists of two lines of wooden floorings, Canon and Avangarde, and four lines in a group of laminated floorings - Intenso, Loftstyle, Longboard, and Commercial.

Comprehensively and interactively

Decora S.A. constantly expands product range to ensure its customers a full range of products for floor finishing. A modern version of POS material presented during the Fair will be useful for selecting the best technical and product solutions from the offer. Based on information gathered, the Electronic Advisor, to be found in a point of sale, leads the consumer step by step to a product suited to its individual needs. An interactive form of customer service will support the assistance at the stores that offer products for interior finishing. The system for interactive communication with the customer has already been introduced to the DIY network throughout Poland.

Decora's stand at this year's Domotex Fair was arranged in a dynamic and interesting way to reflect the innovation of presented products. The visitors had a chance to see the display, which presented the properties and performance of the XPS Electro ProTec floor bases. They could also check the precision of imitation of the natural structure of wood on skirting boards made in the Wood Effect Technology. An exhibition device, equipped with a camera with a magnifying glass, compared the digital quality of standard board bases and those made in the technology of higher definition. The visitors were the first to see the collection of wood and laminated floorings introduced to this manufacturer's offer and try the system of Arbiton Electronic Advisor.
